Waqar is our first blogger for this CIA exam site. He writes for us every Wednesday.
It’s sad writing this post. Problems occurred at the CIA classes and my mentor discontinued the lesson. This is really disappointing news. I tried my best to get things right but I could not, so the CIA classes are done for me, for now.
My plan B is apply for the MBA. I took the NAT (National Aptitude Test) and passed, which means I will now first start my MBA journey. A quote that inspires me to keep working hard:
Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.”
I am thinking of delaying the CIA exam for 4 to 5 months. I will try to study for the CIA exam on my own and evaluate myself using Wiley Test Bank. I am not completely ”shut down” to CIA but will slow down the progress. I rely on this quote to cheer me up:
I prefer to earn it, it makes me appreciate it more. ”
Wish me luck! I will get back as soon as I can. Remember me in your prayers and I will advise you to work hard for your future. A last quote for the time being… I promise I will be back if CIA is in my destiny:
The best way to predict your future is to create it ”
Note from Stephanie
Waqar, sorry to hear the plan for the CIA exam is postponed. Life is full of uncertainties isn’t it? We were talking about interviewing your mentor and now the class is cancelled.
Having said that, your life is still in your control. Persistence and hard work will bear fruit. I am glad you are taking on the MBA and the same time exploring if self-studying for the CIA exam is plausible. It is pretty much common practice to study on our own in the US, so give it a try!
Best wishes to your MBA coursework, and hope to hear from you again a few months.
Howdy guys, I am Waqar Akmal from Pakistan. I am currently enrolled in MBA program (Third Semester) and have completed the CMA exam. I am now working towards the CIA exam.
