Waqar is our CIA exam blogger. After busy working on his MBA for a few months, he is back with new strategy for the CIA exam.
Finally started part 3 of the CIA exam with my primary study buddy Gleim. I reviewed all the sources for the part 3. I have already decided to get Gleim, but I know that it will not be enough for the prep, and so, after completing Gleim I am getting Hock test bank, Wiley test bank and (hopefully) IIA test bank. So expensive!
A quote that really motivates me:
Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got to keep going.”
Gleim is so far very helpful in understanding the concepts. I have already studied the material of Gleim CMA and I think that Gleim was the reason I was able to get through exams in less time when compared to Wiley.
Having started with the governance section, I am quite familiar with the topic because of the course I recently took in MBA. This week I have completed Governance with Gleim questions. I’ll continue this strategy which I used in CMA: to learn the theory from the book, then practice questions, using online software to keep eye on the performance.
I am also preparing notes. These self-made notes (cheat sheet) really helps from the start. I would not have to go through the book again as I will have other supplementary material to read soon.
Lastly, I am really into it now — really determined! As I read the syllabus of CIA part 3 I am quite comfortable with it. I have already studied most of the stuff some in CMA and some in my MBA. Really confident that I can do this.
See you in the next post! Here is another quote to keep you motivated:
Don’t watch the clock; do what it does. Keep going.”
Howdy guys, I am Waqar Akmal from Pakistan. I am currently enrolled in MBA program (Third Semester) and have completed the CMA exam. I am now working towards the CIA exam.
